Textechno takes over Itemat
2007.11.19
German producer of textile testing instruments for filament yarns Textechno has purchased the rights to the product Itemat developed by Enka Tecnica from Oerlikon Heberlein Temco.
Itemat is a laboratory instrument for determining the number of interlaces (entanglements) in filament yarns. Itemat can also determine the stability of interlace nips in a yarn subjected to a programmable load. The measurement system provides the values needed in commercial practice in a precise, rapid and cost-saving manner.
Dr. Ulrich Mörschel, managing director of Textechno pointed out that having Itemat in the product range of Textechno will further strengthen the company’s position as the leading supplier of testing equipment to the textile industry. Heinz Michel, head of Filaments at Oerlikon Heberlein Temco said that the company is focusing more on on-line monitoring systems with Oerlikon Fibrevision. He is convinced that Textechno will not only provide professional service and customer support but also further improve and develop the system.
