Stäubli Acquires Stake in Deimo

In view of the many years of collaboration between Deimo and Stäubli and the two companies’ shared belief in the importance of developing innovative and high-tech products, Stäubli’s acquisition of a stake in Deimo lays the foundations for the building of a mutually beneficial relationship that will see Deimo’s expertise and product range meeting the needs of Stäubli.
Deimo will continue to supply products and services to its existing customers.
The company, which has an expert and highly professional staff, offers electronics consultancy services, designing and producing electronic boards and equipment for the textile industry and offering complete automation solutions for the electronic control of textile machineey (e.g., knitting and weaving machines). The Italian company was founded in 1981 by the Mattia family and it has branches in Hong Kong, China and Korea. Both the Brescia facilities and the Deimo brand will be retained, and Mario Mattia, present chairman of the company, will continue to shoulder operational responsibilities as CEO of Deimo.
