Texmac 2007, India's textile machinery international trade, is taking place at the Pragati Maidan trade fair centre, New Delhi.
Smit Textile stand is attracting many customers and qualified visitors, all appreciating the renowned rapier weaving machine GS900 exhibited in production with a shirting fabric. Visitors have also the opportunity to get information on other SMIT products - including the GS900F terry weaving machine and the js900 air-jet weaving machine – and to obtain direct feedback about any technological subject.
Smit Textile is accumulating successes in Asia thanks to the soundness of its technical and commercial proposal of top quality machines with the best ratio performance/cost, together with highly efficient technical assistance and spare part service.
In order to respond adequately to the challenge of the important Indian market and meet the specific expectations of each customer, Smit Textile is going to open a Training Centre in Mumbai, providing customers with weaving trials, training, together with technical assistance and spare parts service.
The opening ceremony of its new Indian facilities was held on January 22nd, 2007.
