Oerlikon Takes Over Saurer

Saurer is part of the OC Oerlikon AG Group, Pfäffikon (Switzerland) since the beginning of 2007. Oerlikon is a leader in thin film, vacuum and precision technology, and, like Saurer, its corporate history dates back over a century and is brimming with success. Generating revenues of over 4.8 billion Swiss francs with 18,000 employees, today Oerlikon is one of the largest companies in Europe. The company has recently been listed in the STOXX 600 index.
The company’s textile division will now operate under the name of Oerlikon Saurer Textile.
