Oerlikon Neumag to Expand Spunlaid Pilot Plant
2008.02.13
In order to optimize the development activities in spunlaid, Oerlikon Neumag is expanding the existing one-beam spunbond line in its Spunbond Solution Center with a J&M meltblown beam and a second spunbond beam.
The replacement activities will start at the beginning of next year and will take approximately six months. As a result, the new line will be available again for customer trials by the mid of next year.
With the set-up of the new state-of-the-art pilot plant, Oerlikon Neumag is able to demonstrate the full capabilities of its spunbond and meltblown technologies on SMS materials and opens up new opportunities for the further development of multibeam processes and composite materials.
