Karl Mayer Makes Learning Fun
2008.02.05
As a leader in the technology, the market and customer service, the Karl Mayer Group manufactures state-of-the-art machinery and also provides the necessary training and expertise needed to handle the machines correctly.
For many years, this traditional company has been offering courses on how to handle its products and machines, and has also been supplying information on warp knitting technology. The most comprehensive changes were introduced in 2005 as part of a project which is still in progress. A key feature of the changes has been that the existing training section has been transformed into the Karl Mayer Academy. Klaus Kunde has been in charge of the Karl Mayer Academy since August 2007. Above all, he has been involved in planning the layout of the enlarged but compact training premises, which provide plenty of space for optimising the learning process. The aim is to extend the existing seminar rooms and link them to the training machines by the shortest possible route. The classrooms are air-conditioned and are large and easily accessible but, above all, they create an atmosphere which makes learning fun.
The Karl Mayer Academy provides a unique training service, which will strengthen and consolidate the company’s position on the market and improve the qualifications of the students taking part in the courses.
