Automatic Dosing for Sampling Operations

A complete system
The TD-Matic was engineered to operate autonomously or as the perfect addition to the cutting edge laboratory dispensing system, the Lawer TD-LAB, widely acclaimed by the most important and qualified textile companies around the globe.
TD-LAB may be equipped with an optional, automatic recipe transfer system for up to 36 sampling/production dyeing apparatus.
The system incorporates volumetric measuring of the liquids by means of a calibrated glass 60 ml single tube, mounted on a multi-functional robotized arm.
Three models are available for automatically dispensing 108, 174 or 246 dyes/auxiliary liquid products, equipped with a delivery section for 24 beakers on 4 trays.
TD-Matic can totally automate several operations: it can dose small and very small quantities of powder dyestuff, dissolve the dyes and prepare titrated liquid solutions and, lastly, dispense the solutions to the appropriate systems for use.
It uses two 3-axis robots for such tasks, housed within an aluminium and plexiglass structure.
The unit was designed with a storage area for up to 90 different powder dyes on one side, contained inside “mini silos”, equipped with precision metering screws.
The robot glides along the front side of the storage unit, it takes the mini silo containing the selected dyestuff and positions it in the dosing station that has an electronic scale with 0.001 gram accuracy.
On the opposite side, there is a storage unit for 36 stainless steel beakers operated by a second robot, which moves them to the weighing scales and, once dosed, it moves them back to the storage unit or places them in one of the three mini-dissolvers incorporated in the system.
