Software-based management
PC-Link is a software package introduced in 2006 that can manage supervision of the production lines via a standard PC.
The system is very flexible and can therefore gather more data than other, comparable solutions. A number of PC-Link versions are available, in function of the sensor equipment they are expected to control: PC-Link Knit, Tex, Warp, Clearer, Twist, Tens and KTF.
Different machines can be controlled depending on the version chosen, each with its own special features and needs. The result is therefore an analysis and directed data management, suitable for offering the most fitting tools to further improve the performance of the production department.
The future on the web
Last September, BTSR published the new version on its website. The company’s commitment to create simplified user navigation is immediately apparent on its home page, the starting point for users to pinpoint the right product for their needs quickly and accurately.
Depending on the application, a technical card for each individual product can be added. Alternatively, promotional and informative documents on specific product lines can be downloaded in pdf format, listing components and software.
The site also offers users the chance to register for a newsletter, providing up-to-date information in real time on the latest novelties from BTSR, while technical documents can be downloaded as an additional support instrument.
With this initiative, BTSR hopes to further consolidate its partnerships with resellers and at the same time create an informative, direct channel to all sector businesses.
